The Campsite is set within our 18 acre small holding on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We are passionate about nature and the environment and since moving here 12 years ago we have worked hard to re-wild the land and make it a haven for wildlife, whilst also being an idyllic spot for us to bring up our children and share fantastic times with our friends and family. During this time we have planted over 3,000 trees which has transformed the land from being heavily cattle grazed to a natural British mixed woodland, which wraps around lush pasture where our small flock of sheep and horses graze.

We also LOVE camping, and The Campsite is borne out of our vision for what the perfect camping holiday should be - beautiful countryside, amazing wildlife, family friendly, with all the basic amenities you need - basically an off-grid wilderness retreat with great eco-facilities. In addition, because we only rent it to one group at a time you can be assured that you will have the whole place to yourselves for the duration of your stay - all you need to bring is your tent(s)!!

The Campsite itself is an enclosed 2 acre area so the kids aren’t able to escape!! Meaning you can truly relax whilst they have a fantastic time exploring our secret paths and natural play areas which will keep them happy all-day long - they will also enjoy toasting marshmallows around the open fire when they return from their adventures.
